Automatic Delivery--Convenience You Can Count On

Tracking the weather, and providing on-time deliveries year-'round, is the life's blood of our business. We use a state-of-the-art computer system and special delivery forecasting software to track and analyze your past energy requirements and to monitor your system's performance. That's how we know, based on the weather, when your fuel needs to be replenished.

We monitor your fuel consumption using degree days for the greatest accuracy. We calculate degree days by subtracting the average daily temperature from 65, starting from the first cold day of the season until your automatic delivery arrives. From that number, we can determine when you'll need your next delivery.

Our fleet of modern delivery trucks undergoes a rigorous maintenance schedule that assures peak performance. And our truck meters are all certified for accuracy by the government's Department of Weights and Measures.

New Technology for Improved Performance- GPS

An important part of our commitment to you is our dedication to the research and implementation of new technologies to better serve you. We're proud to announce that Patterson Energy is currently the only Oilheat company on Long Island to use Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers in all its service vehicles. As part of an Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system, the GPS technology allows us to track all of our service vehicles at once, and monitor their locations right on our computer network.

Oil deliveries are measured by a technology that ensures you get the right product in the right quantity at the right price. The information that the truck system prints on your delivery invoice is automatically transferred to our office computers and then to your account. Protected by government Weights & Measures seals, it's a no-mistakes, hassle-free way of making sure you get what you've ordered at the correct price.
